Key Bridge Rebuild Virtual Community Update

On March 26, 2024, the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) Francis Scott Key Bridge (I-695) collapsed after a vessel strike. Rebuilding the Francis Scott Key Bridge and reconnecting the I-695 Baltimore Beltway as expeditiously and safely as possible remains a top priority for the MDTA.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, MDTA will host a Virtual Community Update from 6 to 7 p.m. via Zoom.

During this meeting, attendees will:

  • Learn about the work completed on the bridge so far.
  • Find out how the MDTA and partners are working to reconnect resources to the community and how they plan to revitalize and reimagine the Key Bridge.
  • Ask questions to MDTA panelists and hear what matters most to your community.
